Vanessa is the most successful black female in the history of adult films. She is a successful actress, director, and businesswoman.

Along with her many other duties, she also co-hosts a show on Playboy.com called Lex in the City with her fiancee', adult actor Lexington Steele. She also directs using the pseudonym "Domina X".
