SaRenna Lee grew up in Jacksonville but later moved to Houston, Texas to get away from bad publicity because of her father's association with the Ku Klux Klan (Lee's mother later divorced her husband because of the Klan).

She began doing print modeling for catalogs when she was 13 years old, but as she grew older interest waned because she was so petite. Before becoming an adult model, she was employed as a waitress and ran a telemarketing office for about four years. She also did outside sales work for a lifetime photographic package company.

In Houston, Lee discovered the world of exotic dancing. Inspired by the dancers she met she decided to try it. Initially she was self-conscious about removing her clothes and dancing nude, but she was always quite adventurous which helped her overcome her inhibitions. Soon her stage act became very popular, and SaRenna found stage work and dancing enjoyable not to mention profitable.

For a couple of years she worked as a house dancer in a Houston club, but would visit another club once a month that had feature dancers. She was fascinated by the feature entertainers and would ask them all kinds of questions. One feature dancer she met was Traci Topps and it resulted in a new friendship for her. Traci became instrumentental in motivating SaRenna to move beyond being a house girl and become a feature performer too.

At Traci's urging and with her help with various introductions Lee began touring strip clubs around the United States. Her fame grew and in 1992 she began getting offers to do modeling for some men's magazines. At some point she made the decision to get implants to enlarge her D-cup sized breasts. Soon afterward she became one of the best known big-bust performers and models in the world, touring clubs not only in the U.S. but in Europe as well, and appearing regularly on the covers and in the pages of numerous adult magazines, among them Score, D-Cup, Gent, Hustler, Buxotica, Fox, Gem, Juggs, and Cheri.

Her first photo shoot was in 1989 with Warren Tang in Manhattan.

Besides print media Lee has appeared in a number of adult video productions. Some of the videos were of her in solo perfomances. A few of these types of videos featured her stripping, or showed a "behind the scenes view" of her work as a model, usually while being interviewed. Other solo videos featured her doing masturbation type sex scenes, sometimes with dildos or other sex toys. But most of her adult videos featured her with other girls in simulated lesbian sex roles.

To date, Lee has never done a hard-core scene with a male performer, but she is well known for her intense girl-girl performances on-screen. Lee's appearance in Tit to Tit #7 with Sana Fey, during which she received anal sex from a strap-on dildo, was a huge surprise to many of her fans.

She has also done roles in non-adult films, most notable as a perfomer in the suspense anthology thriller Evil Streets (1998), directed by Terry Wickham. In the film, Lee plays the character Misty, an exotic dancer being stalked by an obsessed fan. After an initial confrontation between the characters, he lures her into a trap which turns in to a life and death battle.

As an adult model Lee has long been a favorite of breast aficionados and most of her work has appeared in magazines and media catering to them. But she also has a following among leg fans. This makes her one of a few models who has done covers and layouts for adult magazines that cater to those readers too.

By early 1997 she had stopped dancing claiming she was hoping to pursue some other things in her career. She also added that while she enjoyed her career, she didn't want it to take over her life, and had grown tired of the constant touring over the previous five years.
