Nikki was born on February 21, 1966 in southern California. Her performances earned her nicknames such as "Naughty Nikki Charm" and "Nasty Nikki Charm".

At just 4' 11" and weighing less than one hundred pounds, Nikki was often cast as the innocent waif, although she could ably play the aggressor as well. But Nikki became infamous for her amazing flexibility during sex scenes. Arguably, her ability to contort her tiny, lithe frame into amazing sexual positions (as well as a propensity for dirty talk and an outrageous sense of humor) made her a star.

After filming a scene for her debut adult film, Young and Naughty, a producer reportedly said "Look out Ginger!" (in reference to Porn Legend Ginger Lynn, who was near the height of her popularity at the time).

In light of Traci Lords' revelation that she was underage during the majority of her adult film career, the very youthful-looking Nikki was herself confronted with accusations and rumors that she was likewise "illegal". However, she was able to prove that she, in fact, had made her first adult film soon after her eighteenth birthday and was therefore able to legally appear in adult movies.

Between 1984 and 1990, she appeared in nearly fifty videos. However, after 1990, Nikki appeared very sporadically, and some time in the mid-1990's, became a featured exotic dancer.

In August, 2002, Nikki was arrested and charged with ten felony counts of burglary and grand theft. She was convicted and sentenced to a five-year prison sentence (served in the Central California Women's Facility near Chowchilla) and ordered to pay $400 in restitution. Reportedly Nikki was paroled in early December of 2005 after serving three years of her sentence.
