Kylie Ireland

Kylie came into the adult industry via an acquaintance who was a friend of photographer Warren Tang. Warren eventually shot one of her very first magazine layouts. She decided that since she was ever-adventurous she would go to Los Angeles to try one or two movies and see what happened. After about five movies Kylie was getting all kinds of calls for more work so she decided to move to Los Angeles.

She did her first eighty movies in the short span of ten months, freelancing for various movie companies and gracing many boxcovers. Before the new year the stresses of the adult industry, the crazy schedule and the fact that she missed her home finally got to her. So she packed up and moved back to Colorado, intending to do occasional movies, but more importantly, to begin her career as a feature dancer on the strip club circuit. Over the next five years Kylie traveled all over America and some of Europe dancing and doing personal appearances promoting her movies.

At the 1994 AVN Awards she was surprised with the honor of being awarded the coveted Best New Starlet award. The award led to a couple of brief, failed exclusive contracts, (Sin City and InXcess Productions) until she landed a contract with VCA Pictures, the oldest production company in the adult industry.

For the next five years Kylie worked with VCA, amassing a video library that includes such titles as Cashmere and Raw. In early 1996 she started up www.kylieireland.com, her personal website. She began to cut back on her dance appearances as she grew weary of the hectic travel schedule of a feature dancer. Kylie moved several times between Colorado, LA and San Diego, finally landing in May of 1999 in the sunny San Fernando Valley to not only continue her role as spokesperson and contract star for VCA, but to take on the position of Director of Publicity.

In the summer of 2000 Kylie gave up her VCA Contract and the job as Publicist to actively work in the adult industry once again. She went back to freelancing, working for different companies. She relished the opportunity to work with directors and talent that she hadn't worked for during her time at VCA. She was at her sexual peak and having the time of her life. Kylie truly loves making movies and will continue to do so.

In June of 2004 Kylie started working exclusively for Platinum X Pictures (Jewel DeNyle's company) as a director and gonzo performer; she really gets a kick out directing and like working for PXP. She directs one movie per month.
