Kimberly Carson
Kimberly first came to Hollywood in the late 70s with dreams of making it big in mainstream films.
Under the name Kimberly Carson, she modeled and landed a couple of bit parts, notably as a disco gal in a quick scene in Steve Martin's 'The Jerk.' Small parts in TV shows like 'BJ and the Bear' and 'Eight is Enough' followed.
By 1982, Kimberly had given up on her hopes of mainstream stardom and turned her eyes to the adult industry. She leapt in with both feet, quickly becoming one of the most prolific and popular women during that time. . She starred in some of the classics of 80s hardcore, including the original 'New Wave Hookers.' One of her best films was titled 'The Return of Johnny Wadd' in which she stars along with John Holmes.
Kimberly left the industry in 1989 after appearing in almost 140 videos. She remains one of the most recognizable starlets of her -- or any -- era.
In 1985, Kimberly won the XRCO Best Supporting Actress award for her role in the film 'Girls on Fire.'
