Juliet Anderson was born July 23, 1938.

Juliet Anderson came into the adult film industry late in life (nearly forty years of age). After teaching English language courses for several years in Mexico, Japan, Greece and Finland, she moved to the United States and developed a serious reputation as a performer of voracious appetite — she boasted of never faking an orgasm in any of her scenes. The majority of her early career consisted of 8 mm loops produced by the Swedish Erotica stable. One of these loops wound up becoming her "signature role" as Aunt Peg. The name was acquired from a throwaway line in one specific loop, where she is referred to rather emphatically as "Aunt Peg" during a threesome between herself, John Holmes, and her "niece", Sharon Kane. The name stuck, and although after Anderson moved from 8 mm loops to feature films and began going by "Juliet Anderson", if she was not subbilled as "Aunt Peg" on the posters and box cover text, she was identified as such in the reviews.

Realizing that age was creeping up on her, Anderson eventually began moving out of regular porn acting and into the production aspects of the industry. During the 1980s, she worked as a producer and is credited for having discovered Nina Hartley - she herself having also started in porn at a later age than most actresses. Currently, she is semi-retired, but has made occasional cameo roles on TV and non-porn films. Anderson has also done a few magazine photo sessions for adult magazines, just to show that sexagenarians can still be sexually appealing.

Juliet Anderson died January 11, 2010 at the age of 71.
