WHACK! Debi Diamond! Holy crap are we excited to talk to you! You are one of porn’s original hardcore girls, and you only just re-entered the business in a big way in January. Thank you so much for taking time out of your very busy schedule!

DEBI DIAMOND Well, right back atcha, I’m honored you want to talk about my movie and my new production company... I have so much more to come, I’m very excited...

W! Ok, Debi, we like to think that our readers are deeply entrenched in the world of smut and know their hardcore history, but just in case, can you tell us a bit about yourself so any n00bs out there can get acquainted?

DD Ok, my history... in porn began in 1983, and is very well documented in films, from 83-95... Most of the films I have appeared in can be found at DebiDiamondVOD...

W! You were born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, so porn was kind of a natural progression for you more than many people, but what was it about adult that pulled you in?

DD I came from a very Hollywood family, so porn, NO... not natural, not anticipated, and I actually went right into straight acting. While fun, and very lucritive, I was addicted to risk, raced cars very early in life, and my need for speed was very expensive... So, taking off my clothes and being bad was a very tempting offer, not as much down time as with mainstream, and well it seemed to play the Hollywood game I would have had to fuck and suck anyways, plus, I then had the funds to build the perfect race bike!

W! You’ve said in interviews that you “never perform,” you just enjoy yourself. And you talk often about how you’re just a naturally perverted person. Were you highly sexual before you started working in the industry, or did you discover your sexual side when you got into it?

DD I never really had much sex, guys were my buddies, not my sexual fantasies... So no, it wasn’t till I actually got in front of a camera, dolled up, that I felt this sexual charge... It was unstoppable... and felt very natural, that combined with the fact that porn was a NO-NO... Well, the ingredients to a very fun "job."

W! So you pretty much dropped off the face of the Porn Planet in the mid-nineties, after the earthquake in 1994. Without going into more detail than necessary—what have you been up to? What made you decide to come back?

DD Needless to say, my biological clock was getting very loud, and believe me, I had done everything with everybody, I was a true groupie porn slut! And well yes, the earthquake was a very traumatizing time for me, and being of American Indian descent, I listen to "mother nature" and knew it was time for change... location/situation/mind set... so I left Cali... to find myself some peace.

W! You’ve gone pretty strictly vegetarian and say you feel fantastic! When did you switch over to veggie-ism? How has it affected your life? And how do you avoid bacon? I could never do without bacon.

DD As far as eating, I did get very into the treatment of animals harvested for food. Not only is it heartbreaking, but very unethical in most circumstances… I love living things, all of them, we don’t kill anything, nor do we endorse killing to eat. More than anything I had ever tried in my life, taking meat from my diet just made such a difference in the way I felt, my brain, my body... Can’t argue with that! And I have never met a pig I didn’t like...

W! You’ve mentioned in several places that the freedom of modern technology and the internet are amazing compared to the way things were when you started doing porn in the eighties. Back then, shooting porn was still seen as a really bad thing to do, and borderline illegal. Now it’s still taboo, but easier to film and access. Do you think porn and sex in general have become more acceptable in America since then? Or do you think it’s just gotten easier to get them?

DD Again, we have the issue of our First Amendment and our freedom... YES, I believe the technology has made it a wonderful place to be for some, not so good for others. Free porn has taken many down, and it is sad. To stay in the game you must be creative and serve up fresh niche content, this is what I intend to do.

AS FAR AS OUR FREEDOM... MAY I SAY, I DO NOT THINK IT IS FAIR, SOME ARE TARGETED AS "OBSCENE" AND ARE BEING CRUCIFIED. MY THOUGHTS ARE THIS... IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T WATCH IT... Recently I was quoted as saying things I did not say, for god’s sake... I ABOVE EVERYONE, do not think any “legal and adult porn,” meaning consenting adults... should be held as obscene, the witch hunts that are ongoing within our industry are heartbreaking, make no mistake... As in the case of John & Karen Stagliano, I HAVE KNOWN JOHN FOR A VERY LONG TIME AND HAVE NOTHING BUT RESPECT AND ADMIRATION FOR HIM, AND IN NO WAY feel… THIS WITCH HUNT BEHAVIOR WAS DESERVED, FOR HIM OR MAX HARDCORE... When you step into the interview lights, be careful... Some have angles... and for the record, I will never do a phone interview again!

W! You’re a self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie. What kinds of things do you do besides have sex on camera to get your adrenaline fix?

DD I volunteer for local and state wildlife rescue organizations... Believe me, this whole Gulf tragedy is unbelievably sad, we had pelicans and sea birds in need of rescue before this oil catastrophe, and well... I just can’t even bear to think of the suffering going on with the wildlife. In fact on my blog on MySpace, I offer free stuff to anyone who can donate time or money to help the Gulf wildlife... Ok, so catching an injured or starving bird, there's my fix.....

WHACK! You are now running Debi Diamond Films, a FemDom-oriented film company, where you are the producer and head honcho! What made you decide to get behind the camera this time around?

Debi Diamond It was just a chance I took, a fun venture, and it keeps my dirty little fingers deep in the industry, while also having time to play MILF... I actually appeared in my first fem-dom film, last year. Now, I never thought you would have so much fun, and get off so intensely on the power... It was amazing, I loved it, a natural sub... being bossy... and never having anyone fuck me… Kind of strange, but it turned me on to do it, and even more to watch it , it made me laugh, got me wet, and was a perfect place to be...

W! You are dedicated to FemDom as empowering to women. Do you think some people could watch these films and see them as just degrading to men? What’s the difference?

DD Well if you only knew how these men, sissies, slaves, worthless excuses... how they LOVE THIS, they all thank me, they want to be kicked in the balls, electrocuted, ass fucked, verbally abused, mouth soaped, smothered, tortured... That’s their "thing"... NOW, if you have a bunch of these men, just hungry for abuse, and you add some very hot ladies, some have done this before, some have not, and you put them together with a box of toys, well that IS... DEBI DIAMOND FILMS... While not for everybody, very fun to watch and I am finding women do love it... And men, well I believe most men... secretly want to get ass fucked anyways, don’t they?

W! How many films has Debi Diamond Films released so far? Will you perform in any of them? What do you hope to do in the future?

DD Distribution through Major Video, just started beginning of May, two to three scenes per DVD, I think two DVD’s have shipped, and we plan on two new DVD’s a month... BUT, I did make an exclusive deal with HOT MOVIES, and 8 scenes are up right now at DebiDiamondFilmsVOD, so you can go and enjoy some serious fem-dom, right here, right now.
I did appear in one scene with Nicki Hunter and Nikki Sinn... We worked some poor wimp over... Jimmy Broadway... He never knew what hit him, Nicki Hunter is a PRO.... And well, as you'll see, I hire pros such as Nicki Hunter, January Seraph, Julie Simone, Sophie Dee, Sandy Simmers. I also have girls like Kristina Rose, Andy san Dimas, Juelz Ventura, Audrey Lords, Kelly Divine, Cece Stone, Luscious Lopez, Vannah Sterling... who really don’t do many fem-dom scenes... I even have Amber Rayne doing her first TS scene with Aly St. Clair, it was sooooo hot!

W! So, I just watched “This Isn’t Max Hardcore,” your reverse parody of a Max Hardcore film, starring Rod Fontana and Kristina Rose. Can you tell our readers a little bit about it?

DD Despite what anyone says, I think Max was very smart in business... And well I myself don’t get off on what he does in his films, we all need our freedom of expression... The only thing I would say, is if you do push those very fragile lines... be prepared, and yes, FREEDOM IS VERY PRECIOUS....

W! Would you consider the movie an homage to his work? Or a way of getting revenge for all the girls he worked over during his career?

DD I just thought it would be fun, for an opening film from a fem dom company... A natural thing, perhaps homage, for sure funny! And damn, happy people, every scene so far, everything good! W! You’ve said that pushing boundaries is a beautiful thing — can you go into depth a little bit more about that philosophy?

DD In life we all should take chances, try things, push ourselves... physically, and mentally... feel that natural high of accomplishment, whatever, wherever those ingredients are found, PUSH EM! In this fragile business, with DVD sales declining, free porn, and the law just doing what they want, when they want, I would have to say, I’m more conservative with my company. NOW, that’s not to say the custom work I am contracted to do has any smell of conservatism, NONE! And I like that!

W! I read that in the ending of the movie, originally, you had Kristina pee in Rod’s mouth but decided not to put it in the video because it could raise legal problems. Or was it because, maybe, you’d crossed a line?

DD I love sex. They were so hot in this scene, I didn’t want to stop the natural progression, they were both into it and add to that I’m a total perv, and love happy talent... So ride him out, fill him up, spit on him, and walk away! Amen... of all the scenes I shoot, I let the talent be free, then after the fact, all my footage is looked at and determined what is safe to keep and where, then edited for DVD release (certain boundaries) and VOD release (different rules)... I have many people who care about our well-being, and yes, not tempting those guys... is our goal...

W! Any big projects coming up that we should know about? Appearances? Signings? Performances?

DD Well, I wish I had some free time to travel, I would, but at this moment, with summer, and a VERY hectic shooting schedule as well as post production tasks, I'm trapped here at the gorgeous California coast, POOR ME! : )
