My journey begins on March 5 in Homestead, Florida, where I was born. My father was a nuclear reactor operator at Florida Power and Light (Turkey Point) and my mother was a housewife. I was the first of two children to be born. My brother was born almost 2 years later, also in Homestead. I went to private kindergarten, but after that, I was home schooled. The school systems in Dade County were not condusive to learning, so my mother along with a lot of her church friends, were the original pioneers that petitioned the Governor of Florida to eventually get home school legalized. The laws passed and home school was legal! I attended my mom's school until I was in 6th grade. Every year I got tested by a certified teacher in Florida and tested out atleast 2-3 years above children my own age. I really exceled in math, science, and spelling. Eventually the time came that my brother and I attended public school. We had moved to a different county in Florida that was safer and proven to have better school systems. My parents had gotten a divorce and my father still lived in Miami. We visited him each summer and on the major holidays. Both my brother and I exceled in public school. We were both placed in the appropriate grades for our ages. By the time I was in Junior High, they (the school system) decided that I needed to be in advanced classes. That is where I really learned to love math and science! After going to High School, I remained in Honors classes and in 11th grade also took dual credit courses where I earned college credit while still in High School. I had one year of college down by the time I was done with 12th grade. I continued my love for math as I took Advanced Placement Calculus in 12th Grade.
Upon graduation, I had gotten accepted to the University of Miami with a partial academic scholarship, the University of Tampa with a partial academic scholarship, Stetson University with a partial academic scholarship, and a school in Asheville, North Carolina (I cannot remember the name to save my life). My life's ambition was to be a plastic surgeon and graduate from Medical school at the University of Miami! It is funny how things change. I ended up going to a local community college out of fear of leaving my home. I did well in school, but that is when I really discovered the opposite sex! I was not much of a looker in high school (atleast I did not think so), so I only had one boyfriend during that time. I thought that all the buys thought I was ugly, even though they always voted me as having the BEST BUTT in school! LOL
My academic life suffered slightly in college. I did not study and passed with A's and B's. I actually found college boring! I wanted to jump right in and go to medical school. I am one of those types of people that like to start at the top and then work my way even higher! I earned my AA degree and then went around Florida looking at other State University systems. The University of Florida in Gainesville really caught my attention! So much so that I brought my father with me on another tour of the school and we were about to sign me up (we were both excited about the football games to come) when a guy appeared in my life while I was still living at home.
I ended up choosing to go to school at a brand new 4 year university near my home. Consequently, I changed my major to Criminal Justice and went on to "walk" in the ceremony for graduating with my Bachelors of Science Degree in 2000.
A lot happened in my life from 2000 to present day. Many things happened that were not very pleasant, such as my relationship with my ex-fiance. * I also went and obtained my Life, Health, and Variable Annuities Licenses from the State of Florida so that I could sell insurance. I did not care for selling insurance, but I liked the insurance business. I learned at a young age (23), that I was very good with people and that all sorts of people liked me. >br>
To make this very long story shorter, let's get into how I started modeling. I know that is what you GUYS are interested in. :-)
Back in December of 2003 I heard of this radio contest in Tampa, Florida called the 12 Boobs of Christmas put on by Clear Channel Radio and Bubba the Love Sponge. I needed a breast augmentation badly, well, atleast I wanted one badly. I was scared of Bubba. He talked about things on the radio that made me cringe.....I did not want to do certain things to enter this contest! Come to find out, the owners of my gym are good friends with him and they encouraged me to enter the contest. They told me that Bubba loves brunettes that have some muscle. I took my boyfriend with me and I went to the studio a few days before Thanksgiving. I was chosen right away to go in and talk to Bubba. An aide took a pic of me topless for the Doctor and I went in to interview with Bubba. He and his crew really seemed to like me. Bubba loved my booty, too! LOL A few weeks later, they made their announcements on the radio. They narrowed it down from 1250 girls to 40. I was number 38 of the 40 chosen! Out of the 40, they narrowed it down to 20! I was number one the second day! After that they narrowed it down to 12 and I was number 1 the third day!!!! Thank God I woke up early and heard my name called, or else I would not be hear today telling you this story. :-) In January of 2004 I got the Boob Job that I so desperately wanted! I got back into the gym and worked out even harder. After years of reading fitness magazines, I now decided that I had what it took to be a fitness model! I am all natural (no drugs) and I am pretty. To make matters even better, I am very nice as well! I contacted a few fitness photographers and they all said that I had potential.
In January 2005, I had my first photoshoot ever. I actually hated posing! I thought that it was stupid and I felt really stupid! I gave up! About 4 months later, I was searching online and saw some girls that are actually famous and thought to myself, there is no reason why I cannot give this a shot!!!! I was pointed in a very good direction to some awesome Florida photographers by a renowned photographer in California. Consequently, I was invited to an event called The Tampa Shootout to be a model for a host of photographers teaching novice photographers about shooting, lighting, photoshop, etc. Most everyone there took a liking to me. It snowballed from there. I started creating profiles online and with each shoot I got better pics. With each shoot I got better as a model. I became more comfortable with my body, how it looked naturally, and how to make facial expressions. I know that any flaw or imperection that I have can be magically wiped away with a click of a mouse. :-) Everyone who I shoot with enjoys shooting me as they tell me there is not a lot that needs to be done with the photos. :-) I take pride in how I present myself at a shoot. I am here to please the camera and my fans.
I am really hoping that I can continue to make all of you happy and that I can bring more to the table with each shoot! I love to have my personality shine through in my photoshoots. Always be on the lookout for new ideas, themes, pics, and ideas from me!
