Celeste
Celeste was born May 3, 1972 in Stillwater, Minnesota.
Celeste worked as a stripper at Minneapolis' Deja Vu club before deciding to enter the adult industry. She moved out west and began her career in videos with her off-screen boyfriend Woody Long.
Celeste's first major role as a featured performer was in John Stagliano's Butt Freak in 1992. She and Long married soon afterwards, and for a period Celeste only had on-screen sex with her husband. Her popularity grew until she and Long left the industry and moved back to Minnesota.
This retirement was short: the couple divorced and Celeste reentered the adult film industry. She signed an exclusive deal with Vivid Video and married porn film director Paul Norman. After shooting Borderline (1995), the most expensive Vivid film ever made to date, Celeste retired the following year.
She's considered by most to be one of the top starlets of the 1990's, a truly beautiful and naturally erotic young woman. In 1996 she won the Female Performer of the Year award.
